Social Programme
Sunday 6 September: Social Drinks ReceptionFollowing early registration there will be a drinks reception with light food sponsored by the Institute of Systems Science at the National University of Singapore (ISS-NUS). Buses will leave the Marina Bay Sands convention centre at 7.30pm to convey delegates to the reception location in Singapore city.
Monday 7 September: Social OutingOn the afternoon of the first day of the conference there will be a social outing. This will consist of a bus tour of Singapore highlighting prominent attractions with a tour guide to describe something about the history and culture of the city as well as its more modern ambience. This will be followed by a boat trip stopping at points of interest such as Clarke Quay.
Buses will leave the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre at 15.45 so delegates are asked to assemble at 15.30.
Tuesday 8 September: Conference Gala DinnerThe Gala Dinner will take place at one of the best hotels in Singapore, the iconic Singapore Hilton, 581 Orchard Road, Singapore. The meal will consist of a three-course banquet with wine, beer and soft drinks, followed by coffee.
Consult the registration desk to see the menu. Delegates were given the opportunity to notify if they were vegetarians or had any food requirements during the registration process.
Buses will leave the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre at 19.00 and they will return delegates to conference hotels at 22.00.
